Nuke's 3D system - this shot utilised projections and cards with flat textures in Nuke's 3D space.
The Piccadilly Circus shot in progress in Nuke.
This shot used Nuke's own geometry and cards ONLY - no external 3D models were imported. The texture was projected onto geometry from a pre-prepared photo.
Another shot showing Nuke's own geometry coming into play in the construction of the Underground station entrance.
The entire script for the Piccadilly Circus shot. The three largest blue areas are the sections for (in order from top to bottom): 1. Piccadilly Station Entrance 2. Eros statue 3. Station entrance "frame" - with decorative lamps either side (not seen in final amended camera move).
This is the shot just after grading, but prior to the addition of lens flare, chromatic aberration and film grain. For the final completed shot, please refer to the Production Stills section.
Greenscreen work for the bridge shot in "The Last" was shot outside in natural light to match the lighting and angle from the main plate footage.
Subject keyed - with paint and roto work for the head area that was off the edge of the original greenscreen.
The keyed subject was tracked to the original hand-held shot, subtle edge blur and lightwrap was added, with contact shadows animated at her feet to match her billowing dress. The final graded shot can be seen in the Production Stills section of this website.
